The library includes full-range legato and pizzicato, plus melodic material such as glissando phrases, harmonies and natural and altered harmonics. Pizzicato articulations are switched by key switches and cover normal pizzicato, slides, harmonics, fret effects and street slap. Additional options include double-stop pizzicato, thumb-choked pizzicato and dirty tremolo.

The textural side of the instrument goes further. Presets include twisted pizzicato textures, wood body percussion, bow textures, low engines, rises, falls and three pizzicato drone patches. Have Audio positions the sound around minimalist, contemporary film and ECM-style improvised music, with references to composers such as Max Richter and Arvo Pärt.

Built-in tools let you shape phrases after recording. The arpeggiator generates rhythmic patterns, and the Warp control performs real-time time-stretching for ritardando and accelerando. Reverse, delay, legato speed and a selection of nine reverbs are included. The ICE control applies a sound-design treatment to change the character of a patch.

These controls are useful for building cues quickly, whether you need an epic arrangement or a sparse, intimate soundscape.
