Blur: Cinematic Multi-Effect Plugin by Thenatan Audio

The one-knob design makes Blur quick to use for transitions, fades and dramatic effects on vocals, synths and drums. Thenatan Audio positions it for trap, R&B, ambient, drill and experimental music.

For more control, the decay time settings let you decide how long the blur tail lingers in each frequency band. The curve control switches between a linear response for subtle fades and a curved response for heavier wash-outs. The high-pass and low-pass filters trim muddy lows or harsh highs from the blurred signal, and the damp knob softens the top end for a warmer result.

Blur includes starting presets covering subtle space, cinematic sauce, underwater vocals, dreamy transitions and moody textures. They give you a starting point that you can load and then tweak to suit the track.

The plugin runs on Windows and macOS in 64-bit form, with VST3, VST2 and AU versions as well as AAX. It works in most major DAWs, but the developer notes it is not compatible with Pro Tools because there is no AAX version for that host.
