Fuzz Character and Gain Structure

Blue Face gives you independent Volume and Fuzz controls, so you can set how hard the signal is driven separately from its output level. Pre and Post effect gain controls let you shape the signal before and after the fuzz stage.

A Mix control blends the processed signal with the dry input, which is useful for keeping some of the original tone under heavy distortion. Audiority says the design is meant to blast tube amp stages, so the plugin is aimed at producers who want an aggressive, saturated sound.

Interface and Host Compatibility

The interface is resizable, so you can enlarge the controls for finer adjustment. Blue Face is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats.

On Windows it requires a 64-bit system with an Intel i5 or higher, 2GB RAM and a 1024×768 screen resolution. On macOS it supports Intel machines running OS X 10.13 or later and Apple Silicon machines running macOS 11.0 or later. Check the system requirements for your host and format before installing.
