01Overview

Andes Echo is built around rhythm rather than standard note values. Instead of quarter and eighth note delays, its repeats follow figures such as Syncopation, Scotch Snap, Gallop and Triplet, each placing the echo at a different point in the beat. Each channel has its own filtering, feedback and rhythm selection, so the left and right sides can run as separate textures or be linked for unified stereo control. The plugin is aimed at producers who want a delay with a distinct rhythmic character for drums, guitars, synths and vocals.

Rhythmic Patterns Beyond Standard Delay Times

Andes Echo offers 10 rhythmic figures per channel, with independent Left and Right rhythm selectors. Delay length ranges from 1/16 to 1/2 and syncs to host BPM. Because each figure lands the repeats in a different place within the beat, the plugin gives you a rhythmic vocabulary that a conventional delay does not provide. Polyrhythmic stereo setups are possible by choosing different figures for each side.

The Left and Right channels run fully independently by default, or can be linked for unified stereo control.

Feedback, Filtering and Chorus for Echo Character

Feedback controls how many repeats you hear before the signal fades. Each channel has its own feedback, so you can set asymmetric decay between the two sides. At maximum feedback, a channel locks its repeat in place and works as a looper, and at extreme settings it can self-oscillate.

A per-channel low-pass filter darkens the repeats so they sit behind the dry signal, which helps keep dense mixes clear. A chorus stage with Off, Light and Deep settings adds pitch movement and width to the trail. Its triangular LFO is modeled on the principle used in the Roland CE-1 chorus. A global Dry/Wet control from 0 to 100% and a true bypass switch complete the controls.
