Sound, Articulations and Amp Tone

The core of Ample Metal Eclipse is a 4.6 GB sample library of an ESP Eclipse I recorded from the bridge pickup, the position associated with the aggressive, cutting tone of high-gain guitar.

Nine articulations give you palm mutes, slides, harmonics and polyphonic legato. The built-in amp simulation includes six classic amp models and seven cabinet types. Each cabinet offers eight microphone models, and room microphones add depth to the sound.

An FX rack with EQ, a compressor, a six-tap echo and convolution reverb covers most of the processing you need after the amp stage.

Riffer, Strummer and Tab Import

Riffer is a MIDI tool with advanced editing functions and a random riff generator. The developer describes Riffer 4 as a MIDI editor for plucked string instruments, with Piano Roll and Guitar Tab views that can be switched in real time.

Strummer offers 28 play styles per chord with customizable rhythms. Tab Reader imports Guitar Pro files from GP3 to GP8 into Riffer, keeping fingering, articulations and performance data, and can export the result to audio.

The library includes a set of riffs and presets, and each preset is paired with a Riffer demo for quick auditioning.
