Sound, Playing Styles and Articulations
The instrument is built from samples of a Taylor 956 CE 12-string guitar, with separate libraries for finger, strum and thumb-pick playing. Nine articulations, including legato slides, harmonics and palm mutes, add variety to both melodic and rhythmic parts.
Polyphonic legato and capo and tuning logic are included to help melodic lines sound more expressive. Ample Sound describes the strumming engine as highly flexible, with 28 play styles per chord and strum legato for rhythm sequencing.
