01Overview

Ample Guitar M is built around a deep-sampled Martin D-41, a dreadnought acoustic known for projection and rich low-mid tone. Three sample libraries cover fingerpicking, pick playing and strumming, so the same instrument can handle melodic parts and chord work. The developer's Riffer engine handles note expression and articulations, and the Strummer generator adds chord-based patterns. The result is a single instrument that can cover folk-style arrangements, acoustic song production and more cinematic guitar textures.

Sound, Articulations and Playing Techniques

The instrument uses three sample sets: finger, pick and strum. Nine articulations are included, among them legato slide, palm mute, harmonics and hammer-ons. Ample Sound describes its polyphonic legato and slide smoother as a way to make note transitions sound more natural.

The Riffer engine lets you edit note expression directly, and a musical Dice generator can produce riff ideas to start from. These tools suit producers who want to shape a performance rather than trigger static samples.

Strummer, FX Rack and MIDI Workflow

Strummer offers 28 play modes per chord, along with a sequencer and legato integration. This is useful for building chord progressions and rhythmic strumming patterns without programming each string by hand.

The built-in FX rack includes an 8-band EQ, a 2-line compressor, a 6-tap echo and a 3D IR reverb. The Tab Player reads Guitar Pro files from version 4 to 8, plays them back and can export audio. The CPC system provides full MIDI CC and automation control for shaping the performance inside your DAW.
