Sound Sources and Articulations
ACTP covers a wide range of Chinese percussion, from large drum ensembles and gongs to rattle drums, temple blocks and ceremonial cymbals. Each instrument can use up to 13 articulations, with velocity layers and sample cycling to avoid repetitive hits.
The 11- and 22-mic configurations let you choose between a fuller ensemble perspective and a closer, more focused solo drum sound. A dual-layer mixer lets you blend mic positions and stack instrument layers within the same slot.
Legato transitions on gongs, bowls, cymbals and bells are handled by a dedicated performance engine.
