01Overview

Airspace pairs two convolution reverb engines with a stereo delay and a dedicated modulation section in one plugin. Its reverbs are built from 450+ recorded impulse response samples, covering real spaces, springs and plates, amplifiers, drum machines and household objects. The plugin is aimed at producers who want to build rich spaces and evolving atmospheres inside their DAW, from short rhythmic colour to long ambient washes.

Convolution Reverb and Delay Engine

Airspace runs two convolution reverb engines, so you can layer and combine different reverb flavours in one chain. Each impulse response can be resized from 20% to 500%, which changes its perceived size, and you control its amplitude envelope, pre-delay and gain. Two built-in 4-band EQs shape the sound of each impulse response.

The stereo delay adds crossfeed, high-pass and low-pass filtering and resonance. Its modulation section includes a 4-octave pitch shifter and dual LFOs that modulate delay time and panorama, with five switchable LFO shapes: sine, triangle, square, random and smooth random.

Impulse Responses and Presets

The 450+ impulse responses are organised into 11 folders. They include real spaces in long, medium and short lengths, hardware reverbs, springs and plates, amplifiers, drums and percussion, piano, kitchen sounds, loops and experimental textures.

Airspace ships with more than 240 presets in six folders: Ambient, Blur, Cosmos, Reflect, Transform and Warp. You can also save your own custom presets.
