This soundbank from 5Pin Media is the third release in the developer's series of sound banks for popular modern hardware synths. It contains 100 presets created for the Korg minilogue by sound designer and producer Adam Shaw, who runs the production suite Tower Audio in Newcastle upon Tyne. The presets are delivered in Korg's minilogue library data format, so they are built for the hardware synth rather than a software instrument.

What Is Inside the Minilogue Tech House Presets

The bank is organized by sound type. It includes 22 basses, 22 arpeggios, 14 leads, 12 polyphonic and chord patches, 11 pads, 11 sound effects, 5 stabs and 3 plucks.

The arpeggio and bass categories make up nearly half of the collection, which suits the rhythmic, loop-based writing common in tech house and techno.

Most presets have parameters other than pitch assigned to the slider, so the slider can sweep a filter or other control in real time. Check the slider assignment in the Sound Librarian preset window for each patch.
