Chord Progressions and Pads for Synthwave Writing

The pack focuses on chord material rather than sound design. According to W. A. Production, the presets cover stacked voicings, pad-style progressions and rhythmic chord stabs, which are the harmonic building blocks common in synthwave.

The collection includes minor sequences with a nostalgic feel as well as major progressions with a more uplifting character. Because the presets are chord patterns played through InstaChord 2, they give you a starting harmony you can adjust in the InstaChord 2 interface, changing voicings, rhythm or progression to suit your track.

Who the Pack Is For

This expansion suits producers who already use InstaChord 2 and want a ready set of synthwave harmonies to start from. It is useful when you want to move past a blank chord grid quickly and spend more time on arrangement, sound and mix.

Because the presets are chord-focused, the pack is most relevant to writing harmony and rhythm for synthwave, retro pop and similar genres. You will need InstaChord 2 to load and play the presets.
