Psytrance for InstaChord is an expansion pack of 50 chord presets from W. A. Production, made for use with the InstaChord MIDI processing plugin to build psytrance chord progressions.
Psytrance for InstaChord is a preset pack from W. A. Production that expands InstaChord with 50 chord presets aimed at psytrance. InstaChord is a MIDI processing plugin: you route an instrument through it and it generates chord progressions. This pack supplies the chord material, so you can start from ready-made psy harmony and adjust it to fit your track.
The pack contains 50 InstaChord presets built around psytrance chord progressions. Each preset gives you a set of chords to play through an instrument you already own.
W. A. Production says the chords are inspired by artists including Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, Juno Reactor and Ovnimoon. The presets are meant as a starting point, so you can keep the progressions, rearrange them or write your own alongside them.
Because the presets run through InstaChord, you control how the chords are played. InstaChord lets you set the order of the chords, which notes of each chord sound and how they are played, all from a single button.
This makes the pack useful for producers who want to sketch psy harmony quickly and shape the parts by hand afterward.
