01Overview

VOLTAGE - EDM Serum Collection is a preset bank built for Xfer Serum, with 104 presets from LP24 Audio's in-house EDM sound designers. The collection focuses on the sounds most often needed in dance tracks: screeching main leads, heavy basses, epic pads, tempo-locked risers and effects, melodic and chordal plucks, synth shots and stab hits. The developer says the presets draw on more than five years of work on Serum sound libraries and that all four macros are assigned in every preset. The sounds are royalty-free for use in your own productions, releases or compilations.

Sound Types and Character in the EDM Serum Presets

The pack leans toward the sounds that drive a modern dance track. Main leads are described as screeching and built to cut through a mix, while the basses are heavy. The pads are epic in scope, and the risers and effects are tempo-locked so they stay in sync with your project.

Plucks, synth shots and stab hits cover the melodic and chordal layer. Because the collection is organized around these roles, it works as a starting point for a full arrangement, not just a single sound type. Each preset is a Serum patch you can load, play and edit.

Advanced Serum Features and Macro Controls

Resire LP24 Audio says it explored the more advanced side of Serum in this pack. The presets use unique processing options, resampling, wavetable generation and flexible modulation.

All 4 macros are assigned in each of the 104 presets, with each macro mapped to sound-shaping parameters. That gives you direct, performance-friendly control over the patch without opening the full modulation matrix. You can start from a preset as it is or adjust the macros to shape the sound for your track.
