Serum - House Foundations is a preset collection by LP24 Audio containing 220 house-oriented presets for Xfer Serum, covering basses, leads, pads, plucks, synths, sequences, FX and drums.
Serum - House Foundations is built for producers working in house music. LP24 Audio describes it as a complete house collection, with sounds drawn from several decades of house styles and a focus on sounds you can shape with Serum's macro controls. The pack covers deep, future, progressive, tech, chill, electro and retro house, so it can serve as a starting point for a wide range of tracks.
The collection includes 220 presets for Xfer Serum, divided by category. There are 97 bass presets, 26 synth presets, 25 pluck presets, 18 lead presets, 17 key presets, 14 pad presets, 14 sequence presets, 6 FX presets and 3 drum presets.
The breakdown makes the pack practical for building a full track: basses and plucks for rhythmic parts, keys and pads for chords, and sequences and FX for movement and transitions.
LP24 Audio says each sound can be reshaped with the flick of a macro, so the presets can be fitted into an existing arrangement or adjusted to change the timbre and push a track in a new direction.
The developer notes that the sounds cover both classic and modern house sub-genres, which makes the pack useful for producers who switch between styles or need a consistent sound palette across a release.
