01Overview

Pumped: Serum Lo-Fi Hip Hop Essentials is aimed at producers who want lo-fi tones inside Serum rather than the heavier genres the synth is often associated with. W. A. Production says its sound designers built the presets around Serum's full feature set, with the classic lo-fi hip hop character as the target. The pack is a ready-made starting point for building beats, chords, and textures in that style.

Lo-Fi Hip Hop Sounds Built in Serum

The pack contains 125 presets created for Serum. W. A. Production says the sound designers used Serum's functionality to reach a classic lo-fi hip hop sound, so the presets are meant to cover the core tones of the genre rather than a single sound type.

Because the presets are loaded into Serum, you can open any patch and adjust its oscillators, filter, and effects to fit your track. This makes the pack useful both as finished sounds and as a set of starting points to edit.

Who This Serum Preset Pack Is For

The pack suits producers working in lo-fi hip hop who already own Serum and want a set of genre-focused patches. Since it requires Serum, it is not a standalone instrument. You will need a licensed copy of Xfer Records Serum to use the full contents of the pack.
