Pumped: Serum Future & Bass House Essentials is a 74-preset sound pack for Xfer Serum, made by W. A. Production for future bass, bass house and future house production.
Pumped: Serum Future & Bass House Essentials from W. A. Production is a preset collection for Xfer Serum. It targets Bass Future House, Bass House and Future House. The pack covers leads, chords, plucks, pads, horns and basses, so you can build a full arrangement from one source. The developer says the presets were created by professional producers who use Serum regularly, and that they are meant as a starting point you can edit, customize and save.
The pack contains 74 presets for Serum. The developer lists leads, chords, plucks, pads and horns, along with bass sounds ranging from sine and square waves to deep saw basses.
W. A. Production says the presets are inspired by artists including Don Diablo, Tchami, Mesto, ODESZA, AC Slater and Ghastly. The sounds are intended to fit together, which makes it easier to assemble a drop from different parts of the set.
Because the pack covers the main sound types of a track, you can use it to sketch melodies, chord progressions and bass lines quickly. Layering leads with plucks or pads is one way to build a full drop.
The developer presents the presets as a base to modify rather than finished sounds, so you can adjust the oscillators, filters and effects to shape your own signature sound.
