Pop 2 for InstaChord 2 is a preset expansion pack by W. A. Production containing 40 chord presets and patterns for the InstaChord 2 chord generator. It is aimed at producers writing pop tracks.
Pop 2 for InstaChord 2 is a collection of chord presets built for pop music. W. A. Production offers it as an expansion for InstaChord, so it runs inside that host rather than as a standalone instrument. The 40 presets and patterns cover a range of pop moods, from upbeat material to slower, more emotional progressions. Because the presets are a starting point for real-time chord work, you can adjust them to suit your own melodies and arrangements. The pack is royalty-free.
The pack is designed around the harmonic side of pop production. W. A. Production describes its contents as chord presets for modern pop, covering upbeat tracks, ballads and electro-pop material.
Rather than fixed progressions, the presets are meant to be used as building blocks. You can shape them in InstaChord 2 in real time, which makes them useful for trying fresh voicings while you write a hook or a synth line.
Pop 2 for InstaChord 2 requires InstaChord. It is an expansion pack for that host, so it will not work on its own.
The pack is listed as 100% royalty-free, which means you do not pay royalties on tracks made with it. It is categorized under Instruments as an expansion pack.
