Kit Pieces and Sound Character
The pack includes five kick drums, five snares, and five toms built from American Maple shells. Hertz Instruments says the basic tom shells were sampled from a well-known American Maple set, which places the kit's tonal core in that voice.
The cymbal and percussion selection is broad. You get one hi-hat, one ride, three crashes, three splashes, two chinas, a tambourine and a cowbell. Snare options include brass, mahogany, hammered, classic and aluminum versions, so you can change the character of the backbeat without changing the kit.
Hertz Instruments says the kit is intended to help a mix feel tight and solid.
