03In depth

Festival House Sounds Across Four Categories

The pack is organized into four groups of presets. There are 40 bass presets for booming low-end lines, 40 lead presets for melodic hooks, 40 pluck presets for bright rhythmic synth figures, and 30 pad presets for wide, anthemic chords.

The developer says the sounds are inspired by festival house artists such as Martin Garrix, David Guetta and Afrojack. The mix of categories covers the core elements of a festival track, so you can build a full arrangement from one pack.

Because the presets are made for Babylon, you can shape each sound with its synthesis controls to fit your own track.

Requirements and Who It Suits

Festival House 2 for Babylon needs the Babylon synthesizer to run its full contents. It is an expansion for Babylon 1 and does not work with Babylon 2.

The pack suits producers making big-room, festival and club house tracks who already use Babylon. Its focus on leads, plucks and pads makes it useful for building drops, breakdowns and vocal-style hooks, while the basses cover the low end.
