01Overview

Slap House For Babylon 1 is aimed at producers who want sounds in the slap house style without building them from scratch. W. A. Production developed the expansion in response to the growing popularity of the genre. It runs inside Babylon and is not compatible with Babylon 2, so it should be checked against your synth version before purchase. The pack is focused on the core elements of the style, giving you a starting point for both melodic and rhythmic parts.

03In depth

Core Slap House Sounds in the Pack

The 130 presets cover the essential building blocks of the genre. The developer highlights bouncy synths, pristine bass plucks and airy leads as the main categories. Together these are intended to give a complete, full-sounding arrangement.

Because the presets are organized around these roles, they work well as a base for layering. Bass plucks can anchor the low end while leads and synths fill the upper frequencies, though the exact patch layout depends on how you edit each sound in Babylon.

Using the Presets in Babylon

Slap House For Babylon 1 is an expansion pack, so it requires Babylon to run its full contents. The presets are designed for the Babylon workflow, which makes them a direct fit for producers already using that synth.

If you are building a festival-style slap house track, the pack gives you ready-made sounds for each part, and you can adjust them to suit your arrangement and mix.
