01Overview

Disco for InstaChord 2 is a preset collection built for InstaChord 2, the chord and MIDI pattern generator. Its 40 presets are set up to produce chord sequences in the style of disco, with funky progressions and soulful harmony. The developer, W. A. Production, says the presets draw on the sound of the disco era and reference artists such as Chic, Donna Summer and the Bee Gees. Because the presets feed InstaChord 2 rather than providing audio, they work as a starting point for harmonic ideas that you then shape in your own arrangement.

Disco Chord Progressions for InstaChord 2

The presets in this pack target the chord movement associated with disco: rhythmic, groove-driven progressions with a soulful, funky character. Each preset configures InstaChord 2 to generate MIDI patterns in that style, so you can pull up a disco-flavored harmonic idea quickly.

The developer describes the collection as a bridge between classic dance floor sounds and modern production. Use the generated patterns as a foundation, then change voicings, rhythms or key to fit your track.

Who Disco for InstaChord 2 Is For

This pack suits producers who already use InstaChord 2 and want disco-oriented chord material without building progressions from scratch. It fits both retro-leaning productions that aim for a classic disco feel and modern dance tracks that take a touch of the genre's style.

Since the presets output MIDI, the sound comes from whatever instruments you route the patterns to in your session.
