AZS Digital Diva is a preset bank of 300 sounds for the u-he Diva synthesizer, built around Diva's Digital Oscillator model. It covers supersaw leads, basses, acid lines, arps, plucks and pads.
AZS Digital Diva is designed for producers who want sounds in the style of late-1990s and early-2000s electronic music. Resonance Sound built the bank around the Digital Oscillator model in Diva, which recreates a hardware synth used widely in trance. The collection includes classic supersaw leads, but also deep basses, acid sounds, FM and cross-modulation tones, pulse width modulation sounds, plucks and pads. The presets are intended for EDM and ambient production alike.
The bank contains 300 presets split across several categories: 65 basses, 64 leads, 22 supersaw leads, 50 pads, 50 plucks, 20 arps, 18 chord, drum and FX sounds, and 14 acid sounds.
The sounds range from deep basses and ripping acid lines to pure saw and pulse width modulation patches, as well as FM and cross-modulation textures. Resonance Sound says the stereo stacking (unison) and FX chain add depth and richness to the patches.
Because the presets are built on Diva's Digital Oscillator model, they target a specific retro digital synth character rather than a generic sound. Producers working on trance, EDM or ambient music can use the supersaw leads and pads as starting points for arrangements, or adjust the filters and modulation to shape them further.
The bank includes a MIDI from audio demo and an Ableton 10 project demo, which show the presets in context.
