This soundbank from 5Pin Media is the second release in its series of sound sets for modern hardware synths. It contains 128 presets for the Moog Sub 37 and Moog Subsequent 37, designed by sound designer and audio engineer Adam Pietruszko, who teaches synthesis and sound design in Warsaw. The patches cover a broad range of styles, from basses and leads to drones, sequences and sound effects. Presets are supplied as a full bank and as individual patches in .syx format, and many respond to the mod wheel or keyboard aftertouch.

What the Sub 37 Soundbank Contains

The bank is organized by category. Bass is the largest group with 15 presets, followed by 20 keys, 10 leads and 11 sequences. Smaller groups include brass, strings, organs, woodwind, arpeggios, sync patches, duo sounds, percussion, evolving textures, drones, noise and one distorted sound.

Modulation and Playing Features

Loading the Bank onto Your Sub 37

You can load the bank with a MIDI interface and a SysEx application, or with the Moog Sub 37 Editor/Librarian application. The bank requires firmware version 1.2.0 or newer on the synth.

Because the presets are supplied as both a whole bank and individual .syx patches, you can load everything at once or pick only the sounds you need.
