Sound Character and Synthesis Approach
Vespera Pro is built on MNTRA Instruments' acoustic synthesis method. The developer describes it as a transformation process: the raw grit of distorted modular signals is re-amped through physical objects, which reshapes the tone into something new.
The instrument runs on the MNDALA 2 engine and uses Animistic Synthesis, a nonlinear approach in which patches respond to subtle changes in playing dynamics. Sample Start Modulation is used to create more than 128 velocity possibilities, so note articulation changes with touch.
The patches cover a wide range of material, from pulsating rhythms and ethereal atmospheres to gritty textures and drones.
