Each section was recorded at three positions: close, stage (the conductor's position) and hall. You can mix these positions on screen to set the amount of room sound without adding a separate reverb. The Platinum edition is described as the first 24-bit choir virtual instrument with three simultaneous stereo mic setups.

The convolution reverb includes the hall the choir was recorded in and offers pre-delay and a master control that routes reverb to all instruments in an instance. Stereo image editing is available through channel sourcing.

EastWest Sounds describes the audio engine as high-resolution. The Voices of the Apocalypse expansion was recorded separately at 24-bit resolution with a single mic position.

Wordbuilder lets you type words in any language for the choir to sing, played from your keyboard across extended ranges: sopranos D3 to E5, altos F2 to A4, tenors C2 to D4, and basses B0 to D3.

The pop-down menu holds pre-built phrases that load instantly, and you can add your own phrases to the list. The Performance section includes portamento, repetition, legato and round robin reset, and the articulation window has been revised. Custom key-switches can be recalled instantly, and key-switch sizes are no longer limited.

Release trails follow the note-on sample volume, so they stay consistent, and are unaffected by mod-wheel cross-fade programs.
