01Overview

This bundle combines two Sonarworks products under one license key: SoundID Reference for Speakers & Headphones, a calibration plugin and app, and the Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on, which runs speaker and headphone correction directly on Apollo X Gen 1 and Gen 2 hardware. Sonarworks positions it as a way to hear a consistent reference sound across monitors and headphones. The add-on is an extension for SoundID Reference and does not work on its own.

Calibration Features on Apollo X Hardware

The Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on runs speaker and headphone calibration on Apollo X hardware with near-zero latency. It supports stereo and surround speaker layouts from stereo up to 9.1.6, and calibrated headphone profiles for over 500 headphone models.

Multiple outputs can be calibrated at once: one speaker profile and up to two headphone profiles, depending on the Apollo X model. Calibrated bass management is available for stereo speaker setups with a subwoofer.

Targets, Translation Checks and Workflow

Supported target modes include Flat, the Dolby Atmos Music curve, and a user Custom target. Device emulation targets are available through Translation Check.

SoundID Reference for Speakers & Headphones also works as a DAW plugin in AU, VST2 and AAX formats and as a systemwide app. Speaker calibration uses a measurement microphone, and Sonarworks recommends treating the room before calibrating.
