Calibrating Speakers and Headphones in a Multichannel Setup

The plugin works with stereo and multichannel monitoring, from stereo up to 9.1.6 channels. A guided measurement process uses a calibrated SoundID Reference measurement microphone with multi-angle calibration curves. Phase-based time alignment adjusts satellite and LFE channels, which keeps the soundstage consistent across speakers.

You can choose a target mode: a flat frequency response, the Dolby Atmos Music curve, or a custom profile. The target curve can be adjusted manually, and the calibration frequency range can be limited for the whole system or for separate channel groups.

Running Correction on Apollo X Hardware

The Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on runs speaker and headphone calibration directly on supported Apollo X interfaces. Up to three outputs can be calibrated at once: one speaker profile and up to two headphone profiles, depending on the Apollo X model. Calibrated bass management is available for stereo speaker setups with a subwoofer.

Sonarworks states the add-on offers near-zero latency performance. The plugin formats supported are VST2, AU and AAX, on Windows and macOS.
