Spire+ Bundle packages Reveal Sound's Spire synthesizer with extra material for learning and expanding it. Spire offers four multimode oscillators, two filters and a modulation system with macros, envelopes, LFOs and a 15-slot matrix. The bundle adds Producer's Guide to Spire, a course by Rob Jones that walks through the interface and patch design, plus the Melodic Tech expansion of presets aimed at electronic styles such as melodic and deep house, and techno.

Sound engine and synthesis options

Spire has four multimode polymorphing oscillators, each with classic, noise, FM, AM, sync and saw-PWM modes. Each oscillator offers nine unison voices that can be spread across chords and octaves, which the developer says can imitate supersaw and hypersaw unisons.

The two filters can run in analogue or digital types, with named modes including Perfecto, Infecto, Acido, Scorpio and Combo. Shaper/Decimator, phaser, vowel, chorus/flanger, delay and reverb effects are built in.

Learning Spire and the Melodic Tech presets

Producer's Guide to Spire is a 3-hour course by Producertech senior tutor Rob Jones. It covers each section of the interface, oscillator and waveform techniques, filters, modulators, the arpeggiator, EQ and FX, and ends with patch lessons for a bass, a lead and a multi-part groove sequence.
