ProDrummer 2 is a drum instrument plugin from EastWest Sounds that combines pre-mixed drum kits, a large library of MIDI grooves, and built-in effects and a mixer for shaping the sound of each kit.
ProDrummer 2 is aimed at producers who need drums quickly and want control over the mix. Each kit comes pre-mixed by the producers who worked on the recordings, so the drums can be dropped into a track with minimal setup. A 16-channel mixer gives access to each drum kit, along with bleed and room microphones, and the recordings were made in five studios across a range from dry to very wet.

A Songbuilder sequencer lets you arrange complete drum tracks inside the software, and a Sync to DAW option matches the groove tempo to your project. Drag and drop copies drum tracks into your DAW, and a velocity processor with a velocity graph adds punch to the performance. Individual drums can be swapped within a kit, tuned and stacked, such as layering two snares.
