Distorted Cello Sound and Articulations
The instrument offers two sound sources: a Natural channel that keeps the acoustic character of the cello, and a Distortion channel that runs through two high-gain amplifiers, each giving a different sonic flavor. You can solo, mute or mix the two.
The main articulations are organized across eight keyswitches. Keyswitch 1 holds single strokes in short, power snap, pizzicato snap and long versions. Keyswitches 2 and 3 provide three sets of powerchord loops each. Other keyswitches cover metal sustain notes, metal cello bends, metal double bends, power sliding tremolos, and metal effects such as string scratches and scraping.
