Waveform Shaping and Tempo Sync

ModPlay lets you morph between sine, triangle and square shapes and add an adjustable amount of randomness. Skewing the waveform produces more complex shapes than a standard LFO.

The rate can be synced to the host tempo and set by note division or by frequency. The LFO can be retriggered by incoming MIDI or left to run freely, which lets you lock modulation to note events or keep it continuous.

Snapshots, Outputs and MIDI Control

You can store up to 12 snapshots and switch between them with a MIDI controller, so modulation settings can change during a performance.

ModPlay has four individually configurable outputs. For each one you select the CC number and adjust the output level and range, so a single LFO can drive several destinations at once. Parameters can also be randomized for fast exploration.
