01Overview

Maliki is built around 20 themes, each made of 10 parts that build through the sections of a composition. Within every theme you can play the full mix or isolate single stems, then place each stem on a virtual stage to shape the balance. Mix Recall with 10 preset keyswitches lets you return to your settings quickly. The library also includes 1600 WAV loops and 660 MIDI files, plus the individual drum instruments, so you can write your own drum tracks around the core material.

Each of the 20 themes is organized into 10 parts that grow as a piece progresses. This structure makes it easier to move through an arrangement without assembling every section by hand.

You can audition the full mix of a theme or work with single stems. Because each stem can be placed on the virtual stage, you can adjust how the drums sit in the mix while keeping the arrangement intact.

Drum Instruments and MIDI for Writing Your Own Tracks

The drums are built on four acoustic and hybrid instruments powered by The Forge Lite. Along with the loops, Maliki includes 660 MIDI files and the single drum instruments, which give you material to program new patterns.

Use the MIDI files and individual instruments as a starting point for your own drum tracks, then combine them with the loops where they fit your arrangement.

What do I need to use Maliki?

Maliki requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.4.3 or higher. It will not run in demo mode in the free Kontakt Player, and it needs approximately 6 GB of free disk space.
