01Overview

Infinity Bass is an effects plugin for shaping the low end of a mix. It can add a slight bump in bass presence or generate subharmonics that replace missing low frequencies. Its four modes cover different approaches, from transient-focused excitation to clean sub-bass generation. A Frequency control sets the range used for subharmonic generation and tone shaping, and a Character knob adds saturation, dynamics and tonal variation. The plugin is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats on Windows and macOS.

Four Bass-Shaping Modes for Different Low-End Jobs

Infinity Bass offers four modes, each with a distinct sound profile. Punchy works as a bass exciter for electric, acoustic and synth bass lines, as well as kick drums that need more transient presence.

Warm is a dual-band subharmonic synthesizer with an octaver-style effect, which suits adding dimension and color to bass and synth stacks. Deep is a clean sub-bass generator with dynamics control, useful for adding depth to kicks and bass lines or for enhancing the low end of a full mix.

Phased is a bass-focused all-pass filter that reinforces weaker bass and low-end transients in a subtle way.

Controls for Shaping Bass Tone

The Frequency knob sets the frequency range used to generate subharmonics and to influence overall tone processing. The Character knob shapes the tone in several ways, including blending in saturation, enhancing the signal, and affecting the decay and dynamics of the generated sub.

The Listen button solos the affected portion of the source, so you can hear exactly what the plugin adds. A responsive visualizer gives feedback while you adjust the settings.
