Articulations, Legato and Round Robins

The library offers a broad set of articulations for strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion and harp. Round robins are included to reduce repetition when a phrase is played back many times.

Adaptive True Legato is designed to produce smooth, realistic transitions between notes. This matters most in sustained lines and melodic writing, where note-to-note movement is what makes a section sound performed rather than programmed.

Each instrument is captured from several microphone positions, giving you options for how close or spacious the sound should feel in a mix.

Scales and Tuning for Composers

The Tuning Scale function lets you work with different scales, which is useful when a composition calls for modal or non-Western tonality. Combined with the library's articulation set, it gives you more control over pitch while you write.

The library requires either the free HALion Sonic 7 or the full version of HALion 7 to run. Plan for about 45 GB of free disk space before installing.
