01Overview

SEQUND is built for producers who want rhythm and melody to move on separate timelines. Each Gate and Pitch lane can have its own step count, so patterns shift against each other and form polyrhythms without requiring long sequences. The sequencer adds controls for transpose, octave, probability and MIDI CC output, and it includes randomization for quick idea generation. Polyrhythmic Sequencing and Pattern Control

SEQUND offers two Pitch lanes and a probability lane, letting you alternate between two melodies. Each lane has its own length, so pitch and gate patterns drift in and out of phase.

Each Gate lane can use a different number of steps than each Pitch lane. This separates rhythm from melody and creates evolving patterns that keep their musical logic even as they shift.

The sequencer supports up to 12 patterns per preset, recalled instantly via MIDI, with a punch-in mode for chaining patterns while working with polyrhythms.

Transpose, Scale Quantization and Swing

Transpose can be applied before or after scale quantization. This lets you shift a melody while keeping it in key. Transpose can also be controlled in real time from MIDI notes on your keyboard.

SEQUND includes positive and negative swing, two step advance modes, and three assignable MIDI CC lanes, each with an individual step count. Gate, Length, Hold, Chance and Octave are also available per step.
