Roll Control and Pattern Programming
Hatz is controlled largely from MIDI. Incoming notes adjust the repeat rate on the fly, so a roll can speed up or slow down while the arrangement plays. Grey buttons set pitch up and down, yellow buttons select customizable roll patterns, and green buttons provide fixed and triplet note values.
Thirty customizable patterns sit alongside the fixed repeating keys, and an Intelligent Randomizer produces varied results. Play modes include half-time and double-time with DAW sync, plus mono and poly settings to avoid overlapping notes. Reverse playback and sample start and endpoint controls are also available.
