HALion 7 covers FM, spectral, wavetable, virtual analog and granular synthesis. The FM Zone was developed with Yamaha and lets you combine up to eight operators, using them as carriers or sending them to feedback loops. An Algorithm Finder helps you navigate the routing options.
The Spectral Zone uses a time-stretch and resynthesis engine that changes playback speed without affecting pitch. Its Blur effect turns incoming frequencies into atmospheric textures, and Stack combines up to eight pitch-shifted copies of the spectrum to generate chords from a single note.
