Earth Electric Piano: Virtual Electric Piano Plugin by Roland

The plugin includes 19 electric piano types. Tine models deliver familiar bell-like tones with warm harmonics. Reed models sound grittier and more expressive, with a character suited to retro pop and vintage rock. The clavinet type is sharp and percussive, and the vintage digital models recreate the SA, LA and FM voices of the 1980s and 1990s. An electric grand model is also included for brighter, punchier tones.

Roland describes the engine as combining detailed multi-sampling with its own modeling techniques, aiming for a responsive feel across playing dynamics.

Two preamp types add warm saturation or a driven edge. Six tremolo variations add movement, and twelve cabinet models can be used to shape the tone, or you can bypass them to run direct.

The Venue effect uses convolution to simulate nine environments, from cathedrals to lounges, and includes an adjustable listening perspective. A three-band EQ and a compressor with FET, optical and VCA modes handle mixing duties. More than 90 multi-effects presets from ZENOLOGY FX add modulation, delay, lo-fi textures and pitch effects.
