EARTH Piano: Roland Software Piano Instrument for Production

EARTH Piano includes seven piano types. Classic Grand is a European-style grand suited to classical and other full-range styles. Artist Grand is an American-style grand aimed at jazz and instrumental music. Session Grand is a balanced, versatile piano. Natural Upright and Natural Felt Upright cover contemporary styles, with the felt model giving a softer, more intimate tone. Toy Piano adds a small, distinctive voice. All Silver is a fantasy model with silver strings.

Each type can be shaped further. You can adjust the string, cabinet and sympathetic resonances, and set the key-off and pedal noise to range from clean to more organic.

For detailed control, you can select from eight temperament types and adjust stereo width, dynamic range and envelope settings. Individual key tuning, volume and character can also be changed.

The Venue effect places the piano in nine spaces derived from real locations, using convolution, and lets you change the listening perspective from the visual display. Algorithmic reverbs are also included. The studio effects section provides a three-band EQ and a compressor with FET, optical and VCA modes. More than 90 multi-effects presets from the ZENOLOGY FX plug-in are included for coloration and ambient or lo-fi textures.
