DUKE: Lo-Fi Multi-Effect Plugin by Jungle Audio

DUKE is organized around five flavors, each modeled on a different lo-fi source. Jungle Audio describes them as inspired by tape, vinyl and digital samplers. Each flavor pairs its own noise source with its own modulation combination, so switching flavors changes the character of the effect as well as the amount.

The Bake section handles saturation, gentle filtering and compression. The Mod section adds tape-style modulation and chorus for wiggles, wobbles and stereo width.

The Noise section is unique to each flavor and is dynamically controlled by an envelope follower, so the noise responds to the level of the input rather than sitting at a fixed amount. This keeps grit tied to the performance.

The Filters section provides tone shaping curves that Jungle Audio describes as smooth and musical. Together with the macro controls, they let you dial in the balance between dirt and clarity quickly.
