Sound Character and Preset Range
ZAK Sound describes the BA pads as spanning atmospheric and ethereal textures through to deep, dark and mysterious tones. Some presets carry an urban edge, while others move toward abstract, cinematic territory.
The 104 presets cover a broad range of material: textured soundscapes, otherworldly tones, airy atmospheres, melodic elements and delicate plucks. That range makes the instrument useful beyond pad sounds alone, for example for melodic layers or lighter rhythmic textures.
Because each sound comes from a specific recorded location, the character of the instrument follows the source material rather than a conventional synth architecture.
