01Overview

Arturia Pigments+ Bundle is a software synthesizer plugin in the Synth category from Exclusive Bundles+. It is built on Arturia Pigments and needs Pigments 4 or higher, version 4.1.1.3513 or later. Engines, filters and sound character

The core of the bundle is a set of parallel synthesis engines. The Virtual Analog engine uses three oscillators, and the Wavetable engine is described as complex. A Sample and Granular engine, a Harmonic Oscillator additive engine and a Modal engine sit alongside them, with Engine Crossmod for interaction between sources.

Two filters can run in continuous series or parallel routing. Classic filter types come from the V Collection instruments, and modern types include Comb, Cluster and LoFi. The Utility engine adds a five-shape Virtual Analog oscillator, a second oscillator, sample-based noise and an external audio input.

Workflow, modulation and effects

The modulation system uses a color-coded workflow with drag-and-drop assignment and hover-over adjustment. Envelopes, LFOs, function generators and a random source are available, along with four dynamic, assignable macro controls.

The FX section provides two insert buses and one send bus, with three effects per bus and 18 algorithms, including Shimmer Reverb, MultiBand Compressor, Chorus JUN-6 and Vocoder. A polyrhythmic sequencer and arpeggiator with an advanced random sequence generator can build complex, evolving patterns. A Simplified Play Mode and dark or light themes are also included.
