Channel strip signal flow and EQ control
The Analogue Channel Strip processes audio in a fixed order: EQ, then compressor, then limiter. The EQ has eight bands, each covering 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz with up to ±40 dB of gain, so it can handle broad tonal shaping as well as more precise corrections.
Because the EQ sits before the compressor, tonal changes you make are reflected in how the buss compressor responds. The meters on both plugins show input, output and compression gain reduction, which makes it easier to see how much the stages are working.
