Vocals 2 for ImPerfect is a preset expansion pack by W. A. Production containing 60 vocal presets for the ImPerfect plugin. It is designed for producers who want unusual, processed vocal textures for electronic music.
Vocals 2 for ImPerfect is the follow-up to the developer's earlier Vocals for ImPerfect release. It collects 60 presets built for ImPerfect, the host plugin the pack is designed around. The presets are meant to produce distinctive, non-standard vocal sounds rather than conventional ones. The pack is listed under Instruments and Expansion Packs, and it requires ImPerfect to run.
W. A. Production describes the presets as designed to sound unlike typical vocal material. The developer notes that ImPerfect offers many ways to edit and manipulate sounds, so each preset can serve as a starting point rather than a finished sound.
Because the presets can be shaped in many directions, the developer says the combinations available make the pack diverse. The developer also states that the pack is applicable across any EDM genre.
The pack is a set of presets, not a standalone instrument. You need a licensed copy of ImPerfect installed before the presets will load and play.
The 60 presets are the full content of the pack, so producers who already use ImPerfect can add them to an existing sound library and edit them in the same environment.
