01Overview

Tropical for InstaComposer is a preset expansion made by W. A. Production for the InstaComposer plugin. It contains 40 presets focused on the tropical house style, aimed at producers who want starting material for relaxed, island-flavored tracks. The presets cover lead melodies, bass lines and chords, the three elements the developer points to as central to the genre's sound. Because the pack works inside InstaComposer, it adds new musical starting points rather than a separate instrument.

Tropical House Melodies, Bass Lines and Chords

The expansion is built around the parts that define tropical house. According to W. A. Production, the presets are designed to generate lead melodies, bass lines and chords that can serve as the foundation of a new track in this style.

The developer frames the genre around its soothing melodies, bass lines and chord progressions, the elements it says set artists in the style apart. Each preset gives you a ready-made musical idea to start from, which can speed up the early stage of writing.

Because the presets are focused on a single genre, they suit producers already working in tropical house or exploring it, rather than general-purpose sketching.

Using the Presets With InstaComposer

Tropical for InstaComposer is an expansion for InstaComposer and cannot be used on its own. You need a copy of InstaComposer to load and run the presets.

The pack contains 40 InstaComposer presets in total. Loading one gives you a generated set of parts to audition, which you can then edit or build on in your own project.

Whether you use the presets as written or as a starting point, the pack gives you a consistent set of tropical-focused material to draw on.
