01Overview

Techno Tomorrow - Wavetable Presets is a 14 MB collection of presets built for the Wavetable synth included with Ableton Live. House of Loop, the developer, has organized the pack into bass, synth, pad, lead and arp presets, so you can find a starting point for each layer of a techno track. The pack also includes 15 bonus music loops for sketching ideas or arranging a full song. Because the presets are designed for Wavetable, they load directly into a Live set without any additional instrument.

What's Inside the Techno Synth Preset Pack

The pack contains 36 synth presets, 23 bass presets, 5 pad presets, 4 lead presets and 3 arp presets, for 71 Wavetable presets in total. The bass and synth categories make up the majority of the pack, which suits producers building the low end and main sound layers of a techno track.

The 15 bonus music loops give you additional material to work with alongside the presets. Use them to test how a sound sits within a rhythmic context or as a reference while you design your own patches.

Using Wavetable Presets in Ableton Live

Techno Tomorrow is made for the Wavetable synth in Ableton Live, so it is a fit for producers who already work inside Live and want ready-made sounds to start from. The presets are a reasonable match for techno-oriented production, with a focus on the bass, synth and lead sounds that drive the genre.

Because the pack is only 14 MB, it is a light download and easy to add to an existing sound library. House of Loop describes the presets as giving you control over sound design, so they work as editable starting points rather than fixed sounds.
