Sonic Atlas Expansion: Conga-Dappu Kit is a percussion preset expansion for Sonic Atlas from Pitch Innovations. It contains recorded loops, fills and one-shots based on Andhra Pradesh and Telangana street percussion.
The kit is built around a Dappu-style street drum sound, recorded by five musicians. It includes 250 loops and fills captured at multiple tempos, so rhythms can be matched to different song speeds. The 380 one-shots come with velocity layers and round robins for more natural repetition. Solo, duo and full ensemble one-shot patches let you build either a sparse groove or a dense, layered percussion section inside Sonic Atlas.
Pitch Innovations describes the sound as a sharp, cutting attack with high tonal energy, drawn from street percussion traditions tied to local celebrations. The performances use five musicians playing together, which gives the ensemble material a live feel.

The kit requires Sonic Atlas as the host instrument. It is an expansion pack and will not run on its own.
On macOS 10.15 or higher, it supports Intel and native Apple Silicon in VST, VST3, AU, AAX and Standalone formats. On Windows 8 or higher, it supports VST, VST3, AAX and Standalone. Supported DAWs include Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper and Reason, among others. Both platforms require a 64-bit host.
