Sonic Atlas Expansion: Bollywood Gold – Preset Pack by Pitch Innovations

The pack centers on the dhol and tabla, two drums that anchor much of India's popular film music. These rhythmic layers are paired with melodic instruments including dotara, rabab, mandolin and banjo, giving producers a mix of percussive drive and plucked and bowed tonal color.

The developer describes the loops as full of energy and exotic flair, intended to give productions the grandeur associated with Bollywood music. Because the content is organized as loops, it suits producers who want to build around rhythmic foundations and layer melodic motifs on top.

Sonic Atlas libraries are built in collaboration with musicians and producers from the film and music industries. The contributors credited for this expansion include Naveen Kumar, a flautist in the Indian film industry, Ranjit Barot, a drummer and composer, Sai Shravanam, a producer, engineer and tablist, and Krishna Kishor, a multi-percussionist. Other credited contributors include Azad Khan, a sitarist and music director, Mandy Birgi, a composer and producer, Ishan Chabbra, a producer and arranger, and L Kishore, a sitarist.

The credits show the range of performers behind the sounds, spanning percussion, strings and flute. Pitch Innovations presents these collaborations as part of the library's authenticity.
