01Overview

Pop Rocks is an expansion bank of guitar presets built for Strum GS-2. It covers 12 pop styles across 68 presets, and its 84 strumming patterns can be played over your own chord progressions. The bank works with Strum GS-2's Guitar, Keyboard and Loop modes, along with preset variations. Developed by sound designer Christian Laffitte, it is the first in a planned line of sound packs for Strum GS-2.

Pop Guitar Sounds and Strumming Patterns

Pop Rocks focuses on pop-influenced acoustic and electric guitar tones. The collection includes 12 pop styles, each with a set of presets, so you can find a starting point for lead parts, doubled takes or a more organic guitar layer in an arrangement.

The 84 strumming patterns are designed to be played with your own chord progressions. You bring the harmony and Strum GS-2 supplies the rhythmic guitar performance, which makes it practical for sketching songs or building out a guitar part quickly.

Using Pop Rocks in Strum GS-2 or AAS Player

Pop Rocks is loaded through Strum GS-2. If Strum GS-2 is installed on your computer, the bank is added to it automatically after installation.

If you do not own Strum GS-2, the bank can still be played through the free AAS Player plug-in or standalone application. The package includes the AAS Player plug-in in VST, AU, AAX and RTAS formats, along with a serial number.
