Patchworx Drum and Bass Synths – Thor Presets for Reason by Loopmasters

The pack is organized by sound type. It includes 13 sub bass presets (three sub bass and ten bass patches), 14 reese basses, 15 leads, 10 atmospheric pads, 7 sound effects and 5 synth patches. Loopmasters describes the basses as dark and the leads as searing, and says the set covers sweeps and rises as well.

The FX and atmospheric categories give you transitional material for builds, breakdowns and drops, while the reese and sub categories cover the low end that drum and bass arrangements depend on.

Every patch is a Reason Thor instrument preset, so the sounds load directly into Thor inside Reason. The 64 MIDI files give you ready-made note material to trigger the patches, which helps when you want to hear how a sound sits in a musical phrase before writing your own parts.

Because the MIDI files are included, you can edit the notes to fit your key, tempo and arrangement.
